This stool is a unique piece representing the Seven Divinities of Good Fortune, characters from Japanese Buddhist mythology (七福神, Shichi Fukujin).
Stool stamped “Tritemps – 22 – Shichifukujin” under the lower crosspiece.
Composed of 7 Japanese wooden dolls (Kokeshi) and leather lace.
